In the case of the header.h file skipped in the GCC recipe when using $< variable, the header.h file is added to the compilation process by the GCC "-I ." option in the recipe, isn't it? I suppose we aren't losing the debugging advantage of including "header.h" as a prerequisite of the target, isn't it?
