PLEASE, remember these are just my opinions, I am just some bloke in a shed with a webcam after all, so I would strongly advise that you research everything before you buy, never go off just my opinion, read and view as many reviews as you can. The majority of my reviews are for products I have received free for review, this in no way affects my opinion.

Ensure that you check your resistances and batteries before firing any device, vaping safety must always be your first priority.

Atty looks nice, and definitely agree, i i i dont like the screws moving like that.

In my experience with 22s, the noise is quite related to how much air is coming in the atty proportion to the air your able to suck out of the drip tip.. If there is more air coming in than your able to get thru your drip tip, ir normally produces a lot a lot noise, the fix is to adjust the airflow (smaller conifg) or get a drip tip with a wider bore..

It's a nice looking atty, I'll never understand the appeal of clamp systems though. 9 times out of 10 they seem more fiddly to build on, plus you have to really crank them down hard to hold the wire as securely as a good old fashioned grub screw would.

I just don't get it, it's not like a chunky grub screw isn't capable of terminating wires the same size. I mean, I get people want to be different (not that clamp systems are particularly uncommon these days), but what's wrong with using an existing idea that just bloody works? Imo, the haku got it right with the one closed and one open post design, the only improvement I'd make is to use the larger grub screws.

In my experience I haven't found a single clamp based atty that functions better than a grub screw based design. So why bother? Just for the sake of being different? The only clamp I've seen that makes any sense is on bogan's bonza rda, as the knurling adds the extra grip that smooth clamps inherently lack... But even then, a simple screw would have performed just as well.

Clamp rant over.

Great review Mark
I received my X last week and tbh I’ve not put it down since, the flavour is immense, I’ve been taking one of the clamps off completely, but I think I’ll try your method next time, so overall I’m impressed..love it, cheers👍🏻

An honest review as always Mr T 👏👏Interesting lil atty that 1, I really like the shape but yep the clamps I’m not 100% on either

The original is still my favourite vape so will have to give this one a go. I was hoping for a better clamp system than the first though.

Looks good, but I agree the screw/drill/tap should have better tolerances.

I ran into a similar problem with a plume veil and sent it back straight away without trying to build it because I knew it would not last long with all the play in the threads

Good one here Todd! Thanks for the video man, interesting RDA, I was a huge fan of the v1.

Mr Todd I appreciate your honesty, the screws are the second strike against this atty. The first was the top cap, but that could easily be solved with an after market cap. I hope you got your hands on the new haku prototype

For me coil facing up or coil facing down depends on the dripper. For something like this it doesnt matter as much because the slots in the side of the deck allow you to get it lowered even if the coil is facing up. But on some drippers if you want your airflow to hit right on the side of the coil you have to face the coil down. But i always put claptons higher up than normal round wire. I can feel a weird feeling if a clapton is right in the center of the air.

Thanks for the honest review.. although, not a fan of the clamps either...!
I'll stick with the original, which just works--:)

Hopefully Odis watches this video and refine the tolerances, because if not, I can see a customer accidentally break the head of the screws off while trying to tighten the coil leads down

I don't like that they didn't leave one of the posts open to slide the other leg in. Looks good though but not perfect. I think I would rather chase a Skydrop. Thanks for the thoughts and opinions on the atty.

I really enjoy the stuff Odis puts out. But for the love of god I wish they would find a machinist who knows how to do the posts and screws. Everything they have always seems to have issues with the posts and screws. Its like they are not sized properly or something. It is to bad really there stuff is always great besides that same issue they all seem to have.
