Yeah I saw the Losi unveil and I was sure Mark would get the blue and pink car. First the Traxxas Modified now this Losi sprint car. The dirt oval guys are gonna love it.

yea sprint cars as well as other dirt track cars use those. they are called mud plugs. it keeps the build up of clay from getting in the wheel and un-balancing them since they are taking the most force into the dirt.

Mark, Make a professional suggestion to "Losi" they needs to figure out a deeper treaded dirt / off road tires set and Gyro package for loose dirt !! Most of the novice buyers won't have access to "Clay" tracks !! I see people driving these at local "Baseball diamonds" Losi should listen and not limit this car and all additional and potential sales ?? I was ready to order until I saw you and all the other unboxing and driving videos of many "Experts" !! having issues with traction and stability!! People unfortunately might also get backlash and pushback from the "True Sprint Car Hobbyist" that either own and or operate or race at very limited "Clay" facilities !! Maybe you should put a "Tire/Gyro" package together and make a couple extra bucks ?? Love your videos, I'm a huge fan !! Thanks

Yes sir right side has mud plugs. If they don’t and get in muddy conditions the mud sticks to the wheels making the car very challenging to drive because the wheel is off balance badly. Some guys run left plugs on modifieds and dirt late models but the left side tends to get mud on the inside of the left rear wheel on modifieds

Mud plugs go on the right slide because that is the side that collects the clay/mud when they drift in the corners.

The wheel cover is known as a mud plug. Keeps mud from collecting in the wheel.

Growing up there was a RC track behind the bowling alley we would go to. Friday nights I would go over there and watch them race. It was a dirt oval track. So awesome to watch
