The brand new Stable Diffusion 1.5 model was just released! Not only that but an amazing new inpainting 1.5 model made by RunwayML was also released on the huggingface website. So, is it better than the 1.4 weights? Is the special inpainting model really that good? Which one should you choose? The v1-5-pruned-emaonly or the v1-5-pruned? Time to try them and find out! Just wanted to let you know that there's now an interesting new option in the script "X/Y plot", that let's you input the models name you want to compare, and it'll automatically select the models you put, and generate a grid (like it usually does) with the results for each model, so that you can see everything in the same image. Great option if you want to compare between models.

With in painting, select the crop and resize option vs just resize, if you aren't drawing a square mask and you'll get a better result that matches the original image.

Your denoising was too high for inpainting. If things start shifting direction or looking completely separated from the surroundings, you need to turn down the denoising.

I think the SD1.5 Inpainting model could also be used with Outpainting MK2 script in img2img for better outpainting results than normal, I saw some people testing it on Reddit and tried it myself and it works well, just set Denoising to 1 and CFG to around 3 or 4 and preferably expand image one side at a time, it's still not Dall-E2 Outpainting level (the square brush is really handy) but it's satisfactory for now.
