NCERT Book m Question no. 16 ka Answer (C)0 h, not (D)½

Put ½ in the expression :- arcsin(1-x) - 2arcsin(X)=π/2

At X=½
Arcsin(1-½) - 2arcsin(½)
=> Arcsin(½) - 2× π/6
=> π/6 - π/3 or 30°-60°
=> π/3 or -30°
So, π/3 ≠ π/2
But at X= 0 in the expression :- arcsin(1-x) - 2arcsin(X)=π/2

At X=0
Arcsin(1-0) - 2arcsin(0)
=> Arcsin(1) - 2 × 0°
=> π/2 - 0° or 90°-0°
=> π/2 or 90°
So, π/3 = π/2
Hence, correct answer is (C) 0
