Very cool demo. I bought one for studio time as well as live gigs. Now you don't have to find the perfect back up singers. And if the harmony isn't there? It's only you to blame. Love this product

He more interested in his voice than actually demonstrating the settings for the unit.

as far as I can tell, in 'guitar' mode it reads the chords you're playing and decides which harmonies are correct. I can only imagine in tuned mode i.e. choosing C, D#, whatever, you'd pick the relative minor key, e.g. your song is in Am, you'd set it to C major. I'm not sure though.. I'd stick with the Guitar mode

Vocals would have to be bang in tune to use this for singing without an instrument plugged into the H1. Would it be better to sing through an autoftune pedal linked to to the H1?

@herwig76 You're in luck! If you check out the products area on TC-Helicon's website, we do indeed have several products that this is a feature on. Check out the VoiceTone Harmony-M, VoiceLive 2, and VoiceLive Touch :).

Thanks for your interest!

Best wishes,

Joey @ TC-Helicon

I have a question: how does it make the differnece between a major scale and a minor scale?

Question: can this be combined with the tc helicon Mic Mechanic, if I place it in the loop before it and will the reverb of that pedal combine well with the H1?

Does this unit REQUIRE a guitar to be online? And... Can you bypass the "by key" feature?

I'm not trying to be and or sound like Taylor Swooft and or Bouncy.
I would just simply like to add a touch of harmony to my natural singing voice for one of my many pedal boards.

Is the Voicetone H1 pedal still worth it in the year 2023?
I’m in doubt between him and Harmony Singer 2.

You can use "what" scale if your singer doesn't have a guitar? I couldn't get it.

Hi Joey, of course I know the Harmony-M, but I like the concept of the Singles. MIDI would be nice in a Voicetone-Single-Pedal.
Next week I start with the T1!

Greetings!

You should have used a jazz guitar and done jazz songs. The guitar was mixed louder than the fx.

Can you use this with different relative pitches? Like A = 432hz?

I am drummer who sings backup. Could I use this to add to my backup harmonies or would it clash with the singer?
