Alps Outdoorz Impulse Pack - Is It Too Noisy? NO!

UPDATE:
I need to do a follow-up video on this pack after getting out with it over a dozen times. I was pleased with it, no real issues with sound as first thought, and it packs and carry's well. I did sometimes wish it had more outside storage but the side pockets do work great for my Doyle's Hoist and a water bottle/grunt call. I had it loaded down pretty heavy at times with gear, camera, platform, steps, and had no problems. However, there is one thing that Alps needs to change. It is the way the top folds down and the bottom set of magnets that holds it closed. They are not strong enough, and not the right kind of connection IMO, I think it should be straps with silent G-hooks or something and not magnets, at least for the bottom set in the lid. More than once the top flipped all the way open and things fell out of my pack while up the tree, because those bottom magnets will not hold any extra weight (just a jacket) and allows it to open all the way down too easily. Also, this same connection point is an issue when you strap a gun on the front using the gun boot (great feature by the way), the gun compression strap pulls the bag open where the magnets are and is a high stress connection point, I don't like it. Not sure if I'm describing it well which is why I should do another video.

Anyway, with all that said, if you know about that issue with the lid magnets and work around it in the tree, the bag is great, it holds all of my gear with room to spare. I was using this pack when I shot the big buck this season, and carried it out with over 20 lbs of gear and a shotgun strapped to it while dragging the buck.

For ground blind hunting, it would be great as it really does stand up on it's own.

Here is my first look and thoughts of the Alps Outdoorz Impulse pack. At first I was going to return it but I decided to give it a fair shot. Check out the video to see why.

Thank you for watching

Now that it's been a couple months, what are your most recent thoughts on it? I was thinking about getting this pack for ground blind hunting.

I have the Nexgen Backpack for 4 years now, but interested in the Alps Impulse Backpack just cause of the zipper-less.
Did it get any quieter? TIA

Heyyyy SO.... Good to see U again!! That was loud on my phone even!! Nice features but way to stiff and noisy for my old self!! Maybe they will trade U somethin better after they see your video!! I honestly think it will be twice as noisy up in your tree stand Sir!! Whatever U choose I hope it works for U!!

How was the noise level once you used it in the woods? Seems like once you loaded it up most of the issue went away. I would also think that once you have your waist belt sized to your waist, you would not be making major adjustments that could cause noise.
