Picanha is a cut that has been made famous around the world, in large due to Brazil. In fact, Picanha is usually the highest priced beef cut in Brazil due to its large popularity and demand.

The cut is sold in butcher shops around Brazil with the fat cap left on the cut, but the silver skin fully removed. In Japan, butcher shops fully trim the fat cap on the Picanha, given the cut is usually really marbled.

The same part, two different cuts, and many different ways to prepare. Fantastic in many different ways!
