This car has the perfect amount of power for British B Roads, the handling is sensational. I would absolutely recommend the Performance pack for the full experience! I came from a quicker Mini JCW but this is more fun to drive and cheaper to run ! Get one 👊

Good review, I bought the Performance Edition(P.E) in December, following having owned a Mk8 ST-2 performance pack. Even though performance figures from Ford are identical the P.E. is most definitely more spritely than the ST-2, the only thing that this can be put down to is the lowered wheel weight. 8Kg or so wouldn't make a deal of difference on a car weighing ~1250kg, but it's where that weight has been taken from is the key here. Similarly the suspension just makes the car a far more adaptable prospect ie it's got town driving covered, along with super controllability under demanding conditions. The colour is very striking(and would have opted for something else if that had been possible) but has grown on me over the cut a long waffly post short . Worth it? You betcha! this is the best car I have ever owned by far

Buy st2 with performance pack, fit kW v3 coilovers and revo map and have a better car for less money and without horrendous orange paint

The 3 cylinder engine will last until the warranty is up and then you can expect a big repair bill. No way that engine is built for reliability 200bhp for a 3 cylinder 1.5 engine.
