H1B Visa approved after two 221G/ Full story

I recently got my H1B visa stamp after two 221-G. Sharing my experience.

I have received 221g yellow slip and I have applied for j1 visa. Submit my documents on 18 may 2023 on 19 may 2023 it changed in administrative processing after how many days can I received my passport 😮

I have been issued 221g thrice by now.... All the time they had asked the same question Time n time... This has been going on since Aug 2022... Still waiting... The status is refused not rejected

I had my visa interview today at the US EMBASSY LONDON and the visa officer told me he only need to do uk home office check on me and he is going to email me back between 7-14working day and gave me 221g that I should not worry that I will only need to send my passport back for the visa,

Please I am just asking if this is a good course or not sir, please do respond 🙏

Hi brother in my case the take my passport and give me 221g AP yellow paper from july 28 in Saudi Arabia Riyadh but still showing last updated 11 aug and refused soo how much they take a time for complete the process

I am going through something similar as i just received a 221g white slip with request to submit a ‘New Passport’ (no other document), do I need to schedule a new visa appointment dropbox from CGI for this New Passport dropoff?
Or there is a walk-in with 221g slip option available ?

Hello, for the first time when you received 221 g to submit photographs, did they send you the passport back along with the 221 g letter to the VAC or did they contacted you via email?

Hi sir I applied for j1 visa and my interview was on 16th May 2023 but the officer gave me 221(g) yellow slip in which he asked me to submit new DS 2019 so I submitted along with my passport but they sent all the documents along with the same 221(g) letter which I receive during the interview and I am very confuse what to do please help me sir

Hello hope u help me regarding this …I dropped my documents on 15 th nov after a week I received 221g with white slip on dec 20 th day i have inperson interview I attended 221g first time consulate said verbally my visa got approved and ceac portal also shows refused change as approved after 10 days again its turned as refused status again i received my passport with 221g white slip with inperson interview first time they asked me client letter but second time they did not ask any documents just they asked to attend inperson interview on feb 1st shall i contact them through mail or shall I wait for the date of interview

Hi Himanshu, thanks for the clear explanation.I attended the h1 interview in the Chennai consulate 2 days back along with h4 dependants(wife + 2 kids). as i m selected by an employer to work in his location in Houston and the client is not decided yet, i couldn't provide the client letter when sought by VO. no 221g form given to me and passport is given back, but told to wait for an admin process orally and asked me to keep an eye on email inbox. once the case is positive you need to provide your passports is what said to it normal?

What if you don't receive any 221g slip or instruction letter while your visa interview or while you take your passport back.?
My case for c1/d Visa is in 221g but didn't get any kind of slip or Letter, only got 221g information in mail?
Kindly suggest what should i do further?
