Now it is a tourist destination in Cartagena Colombia and is also a place where government sponsored events are held. It was a wonderful sight to see and experience. The views were great. There was a great amount of sunshine and heat in Cartagena that you have to experience to really understand, but we still enjoyed it. Bring a hat or umbrella to enjoy the views from the castle -and plenty of water as well! I definitely recommend travelers visit this place in Colombia when traveling to Cartagena.
