Finally, someone to explain the whole principle of work of timeboxing, until now what I heard did not give me the most important information. Thank you Vihan Chelliah! This mean a lot for me!

3:50: Oh no, that's what I'm doing by watching this video right now!

To be fair I actually _did_ pre-plan to watch it this morning but missed it due to unexpected circumstances... but is a bit ironic to hear about that while it's happening!

Great video and excellent production quality! Love small diamonds like these. Thanks for the reminder on planning your day - no time allocated to a certain task likely results in underutilized or even lost time.

Anyone else notice the mention of the "Pomodoro Technique" quickly followed by an image of a tomato timer?

This is an interesting perspective. The biggest issue for me in running my company are the “fires” that occasionally come up in managing my staff and helping customers. How do you balance timeboxing against having to be agile at times in order to get things done?

When/If you finish a task quicker than the allocated time, do you take a rest? If rest isn't in the next block?
Or do you move up the next task to fill the spare time?

Is time boxing and blocking are the same thing?

I'm a midwifery student on 24 hour call 6 days a week. I need time management like nobody's business. I need something but my days are dictated by the tiny humans I help into the world. Any tips for using this with that sort of life? I can see how these increments are especially awesome for keeping my clinic day on point. I'm worried about getting called out and everything going to shit.... all that work for a tiny flesh bag to not respect my time blocking.. Whats a person to do? throw in the circadian rhythm disruption and I'm always in a daze.

Where's the original interview showing Elon Musk is truly using Time Boxing? I don't see that video. I only see Elon Musk said he works for SpaceX on one day and Tesla on another day and so on, but I don't see he has said anything like "Time Boxing"
