Tom Clancy’s The Division- The recent change to SMG (getting their crit back) has led many people to wonder how good SMGs will be in patch 1.6, so I went ahead and modeled ideal DPS configurations for both SMGs and Assault Rifles, so that we're able to see which weapon is better to use in both PVE and PVP.

when I see one of your videos show up on my feed I am never disappointed this has to be one of the most informative videos out there on this subject and thanks for going into so much detail with t even tho yes it was difficult to follow in parts because of all the maths but you bring it back and in the end all the information does get across so bravo man bravo.

This response is to Kraus Strider and s few others;  Skill Up looked at specific circumstances, specific skills and computed through put and damage.  He was very specific in his methodology.  He was also very specific in leaving out many minor additives.  He have us a basic model to look at and to identify what the difference between CHD and CHC on SMGs is.  Mathematically his data is correct.  The individual player will add and change the total by mods, gear sets, gear and talents.  He never said that the data cant change or that it is the absolutely right answer. Min-Max players, tweaking gear sets, recalibration rolls and knowing the game will always be better than the base numbers he gave.  But before you say this is better than that and so on, how about you look at a player min-maxing a crit build LVOA-c, and a crit damage LVOA-c and a PP19 build the same way.  And lord help me.  Just because your MP7 melts some one, doesn't mean my PP19 doesn't melt two targets, and reload in 1 sec.  I have a crit build MG5, I crit 5 of 10 on average, and I have decent crit hit damage.  I melt people with a non-alpha build.  It is silly to dispute the basic math and the basic data he put out.  It is accurate.  Basically all gear is relevant now.  75% of all gear sets are relevant now, and most of us know how to build face melt gear sets.  So enjoy the meta and stop bashing the data.  Just deal with it.
