The most important things are what framerates are available and whether you can run timelapse infinitely. For some reason no one ever covers these in their videos. The manual has zero information on this. For me it's important because I'm looking for an action camera I can set up as a security camera to record for weeks. Oh yeah what's really annoying is everyone comes SO close to showing the options on the screen, but they never quite do.

You should try shooting in manual and using slow shutter speeds. You get dreamy clouds and at night cool light trails.

i am having a problem with loading my time lapse onto my clipchamp for editing. it is about 2gb and set to just video, do i need to set it to video/jpeg?

Great video. My DJO Action Osmo doesn't have the option for 'video' in the format menu, only JPEG or JPEG/RAW. Any reasons why??
