This is a superb calypso from a master of composition. On 26 March 2022 Crusoe received the most sustained and heartfelt round of applause I've heard in a long, long time at the London Calypso Tent. Having just come from the capital's big March for Ukraine the same day, the absolute truth of the lyrics hit me with great force. It's a far more meaningful song than the far better known 'Give Peace a Chance', which was sung at Trafalgar Square.
