Loved this. It’s been so long since we holidayed in Sidari that we barely recognised anywhere! We stayed at the Canal d’amour area on the 2 occasions that we were there. We also stayed in Roda twice. It was nice but the beach was all shingles. A tad sore on the feet. We enjoyed our visits to Corfu town and Paleocastritsa….probably spelled that wrong😂. We visited the monastery at Paleo…. and it was fascinating. Also visited a palace high up somewhere but can’t remember where as it was in 1992. Love your vlogs. Keep up the great work. Often wondered what corfu was like and your video probably gave an accurate tourist view without being too elaborate or too condemming, suppose its like a lot of European and far distant shores ...sun sea and good food and good looking ladies. Good video.

Glad you made it to Corfu Kevin. I stayed in Ipsos many years ago 😅 when I was young. Corfu town is lovely and there is a cricket pitch 🏏. Brilliant stuff, keep up the good work 👍

Heyas wee Kev.I.N, been there 2 times, a few years ago though. Stayed in the Canal D'Amour part, great times too. Used to go to a Brit owned bar with a monkey in its name** found an old picture and it was called the Sea Monkeys***, bar terrace onto grass and into sea in 20 paces, on Google maps it's Argilos Beach bar(?) The 3Little pigs restaurant was good value There used to be a fabulous family taverna restaurant not too further past the 3pigs that had the biggest portions, real belly busters, it was small place so you needed to be early as it wasn't open till late afternoons. Of course there is the noisier part of the strip but lots of sensible non madhouse places too. I hope the Corfu wild fires haven't caused too much hassles. Cheers DougT*** also there was Jeni's tea/coffee and bar not far from the 3pigs, she was a collection point for all stray puppies/dogs handed in 😊, as I said a great time in Sidari.

Looking forward to this series of videos Kevin as my memories of the island are only of the inside of Corfu town hospital. ( young son was taken ill on first night) . It’ll be great to actually see the island itself 😁
