Joplin's car was a cabrio, not a roadster. It actually is still in her family hands.

This is not Janis Joplins Porsche, the colors are different, the scale of the mountains are different, that happy face on the rear right wing is much much bigger on Janis's actual car.  Its sad that someone would reproduce this so poorly and have the nerve to call it the Joplin Porsche.

Her car was auctioned off for $1.700, 000.00 by a lady in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for herself on her 60th birthday. I love Janis too much to lie about her. <3
