When the government tells you to panic, stay calm. When they tell you to stay calm, panic.

I need everyone to realize that all ICBMs go through space.

Did he further specify the date and potential source of this info when he said he learned about it two years ago?

Why is Speaker Johnson afraid of letting the representatives have a vote on this bipartisan issue? Because he knows it will pass. They are more concerned about their little perceived political win and their egos then a robust foreign policy that helps the us and our allies. Just pathetic. McCain and Reagan would be very disappointed.

"Not a nuclear space system. It's a special interstellar operation." Russia

I love how nobody realizes that a nuclear weapon detonated in outer space would send an EMP shockwave that would disable any electronics in its path

Funny how I've heard multiple speakers say that this intelligence is "Highly Classified" and yet they are blasting it all over the news. Beneath the surface there is a reason for this... However, this whole thing is a little weird.

Looking at the leadership I'd say US and intelligence dont belong in the same sentence

There it is the ultimate unexpected consequence that ends all life on earth. A radio active cloud in space.

Actual title should be:
US has new intelligence on future Russian nuclear capabilities in space.

Trump in Helsinki:

“They said they think it’s Russia. I have President Putin; he just said it’s not Russia. President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today.
President Putin says it's not Russia. I don't see any reason why it would be."

Even some of Trump’s own supporters were aghast.

That was the first time Trump betrayed America, but it wouldn't be his last.

I guess this is what they mean by "radical transparency"

"Nuclear component " could very well be referring to a nuclear propulsion system which is something that has been used for a long long time and would give the satellite maneuverability in orbit. Shout out to Voyager 1. Sounds like some media hype and the russian mouthpiece was referring to ground based nukes. I can't imagine he revealed such important, top secret info like nukes in space on a talk show.

I thought I've heard this before... No doubts that the major powers have been working on this for some time now.

Is it nuclear powered or does it have nukes onboard becuase it doesn't take a whole nuke just to take out one satellite.

It's a nuclear POWERED satellite. It's not carrying deployable independent nuclear ordnance: it's likely mounting a projected energy weapon --- something 're-useable' which won't involve having to compensate for any significant orbit disruptions owing to weapons discharge.
