There are a handful of properties that legally the Marvel Cinematic Universe is not allowed to use due to various contractual reasons. X-Man! Not yet. A Hulk solo movie! Soon maybe. Rom Space Knight. It's weird to think that she hulk, the comic character, was originally created to prevent a rights issue if The Incredible Hulk TV show made a female hulk character that marvel then wouldn't own, and is now being used to put out hulk material marvel doesn't have the rights to yet.

Rom Space Knight is responsible for Rogue joining the X-men. She started out as a villain in the comics, but became good after using her powers to read his mind and see what a hero he was. Crazy that such a defining part of a major character was all because she met Rom, who was made to sell toys and can’t even be used by Marvel anymore!

They never actually used the code name Quicksilver in Avenger’s Age of Ultron. He was just Pietro. So technically they could still call him Quicksilver. And they can use "The Microverse". That actually predates Bill Mantlo's Micronauts. The Microverse was a Fantastic Four realm. The home of the Psycho Man. Some settings from the Microverse, those specific to the Micronauts are off limits. Mainly Homeworld, Acroyer and Kaliklak. Also The Prometheus Pit and the specific Time Traveler characters. Bug falls into a grey area. With Bug Marvel is still allowed to use him in the comics, because Bug really took nothing from the Galactic Warrier toy beyond being green. But they can't merchandise him or use him in media. Similarly Marvel comics can still use Arcturus Rann and Marionette. But not Acroyer, Biotron or Microtron.

The first 12 issues of "The Micronauts" (1979) is one of the finest comic book stories of all time. The art and story meshed so well.
"ROM" is the only title from back then that I read completely, all 75 issues. It was very good throughout it's run. Micronauts had a spectacular, mind-blowing first year, but after that it lost its inspiration.

Ryan Rynolds' DP never was officially part of Fox's X-Men film continuity. Just look at his versions of Colossus and Juggernaut compared to the X-Men's versions. DP is just in his own meta continuity.
