Don't know why Saagar thinks early voting will just be a one-off this year. Why anyone would bother with election day crowds when you can cast your vote early baffles me.

Just because someone is registered as an R or D doesn't mean that's who they voted for in either direction.

It means instead of voting on a workday or even mail-in ballots, "early voting" methodology should be the standard in the US to draw out those who wouldn't normally vote.

Doesn't matter who wins at this point; none of the right lessons were learned.

LOL. Y'all don't know Texas. Texas suburban voters are not like Philadelphia suburban voters. Texas suburban voters are still very much TEXAN! Those counties will not show nearly the Democrat numbers you think they will.

I'm in one of those Houston burbs. I can tell you it is 99 to 1 Trump signs, flags and all. I know vocal majority and all, but Texas is still Texas.

As a Texan I can explain part of what it means. Early voting is very easy in TX. It is easier than voting on election day. No lines, vote at any location in the county, and easy hours for poling locations. The only people who vote on election day are the traditional types who see this a patriotic activity.

If you look at cities like Dallas you see about 60% dems in the big city, but it is very republican in the suburbs. Some of these suburbs are huge! Dallas is about 2 million but the DFW area is 7.4 million. Austin is a liberal area but it is more libertarian than someplace like CA. They keep saying TX will flip but most of the time Republican's win by double digit margins. The Cruze vs Beto race was the only time in the last 30 years where a Dem was within 5% in a statewide race. TX is a very red state.

If Texas was in play, Biden would be campaigning there.

I’m just confused. I live in suburbia. I know literally dozens of people (including myself) who didn’t vote for Trump and are now voting for Trump. I know 1 person who cast a protest vote for Bernie that is now voting for Biden. I’m from Atlanta.

You're assuming the people that left cali are still supporting dems, they ledt cali for a reason.

I don't see Nevada being in play for Trump Krystal. The conservative voters traditionally have a high turnout there. Its Vegas that flips the whole state and that is heavily Dem.

Saager, Texans are tired of GOP Texas politics. Lifelong Texan. Never voted blue but Texas politics as usual has been exposed as only helping friends of GOP, not their constituents

**correction** Pennsylvania doesn’t start counting until their polls close at 8 pm

The good news is the areas with high turnouts in Texas are the ones with Bernie Sanders endorses candidates running for Congress (Mike Siegel, Julie Oliver, and Donna Imam).
