Thanks for the review! Funny how I like to watch reviews on products I already own.

Running the E30 is "preamp mode" with adjustable volume significantly reduces the sound quality. Definitely run this in DAC mode. I am impressed how good this unit sounds on my pretty high quality two channel system.

I have just bought in Aliexpress and expecting to receive it. I am going to connect it to a Xduoo mt 602 tube hibrid amplifier which sounds awsome (it can move my Beyerdinamic dt 770 250 ohm effortlesly). Then to my Yamaha receiver. As other said it is better to use in the Dac mode isn'it? But when is it necessary to use in the preamp mode?

First of all huge thanks for such an informative video! I'm trying to put together a stereo system. So if I connect the E30 to my integrated amp (ex: Denon PMS-600NE) in fixed dac mode, I can use only one source right? What if I also wanna hook up a second source like CD player through the dac?

Hi im new to this kind of stuff.. Can i connect this to my amplifier? If not how to use this with 2 front speakers and a subwoofer all with 300 watts??

Hey Jiles. I just bought a E30 2 lite Topping and i can’t seam to get it playing. It’s my first DAC so i’m a little confused lol. So i have a Marantz SR-4023 receiver running into a Yamaha MX-600U amplifier. Right now i am using a iphone 6 as my streaming player and i m lost. So hopefully this gets to you and you can provide a little light i would much appreciate it thank you. Happy Holidays

Hi! I have just known your channel. I have a doubt. In my laptop I have several SACDs downloaded from web as .iso files. In my experience with previous Dacs I can play then perfectly in a 2.0 environment. But I would like to listen them in a 5.1 setup. I have all the Speakers and subwoofer of course. My receiver Is Yamaha htr 3065. I Connect the laptop through HDMI and use foobar 2000 . 1) can I play dsd in a native way in 5.1? I can't, I hear just noise. 2) ok then I convert Dsd to pcm and chose multichannel output but when in the receiver I try the "straight" mode because I want to listen 5.1 as dictated by the file without the receiver "colouring filters", just got 2.0 (or 2.1). How can I fix this?

I received this e30 yesterday. In Dac mode, the sound is excellent and comparable to my Cambridge 840c CD player. But the unit went dead after two hours of use. Therefore, I do not recommend to buy it.
