Max, the e-turbo feeding boost to the battery and motor is how the MGU-H works in F1. Instead of limiting boost pressure by dumping excess pressure in recirc or blowoff, the electric motor adds drag (same as regen on the drive motor) to the compressor shaft, slowing it. Which creates electricity routed back to the battery or the motor directly. So same concept as regen from the wheels, but on the turbo. Very clever.

My tip is the 992.2 GT3RS (possibly even the GT3) will use the mighty 4.0 naturally aspirated currently in both with the HYBRID BACKUP. Time will tell!

That motor sounds quite vicious, and more growly than the old unit, the e-als is kinda brilliant as well. Aesthetically the new air management features and rear diffy look a little bit awkward
