This journal can be used for a variety of different projects from having somewhere to store love letters or family/ friends correspondence to an ephemera storage book. Mine is not a Love Letter Journal as only having 3 doesnt warrant a journal lol This is about you using your imagination on how you can incorporate some of the ideas to suit your own needs. The choice is really up to you. Let your imagination rum amok :)

Brilliant technique for attaching the envelopes and papers! I always learn something new from your videos, Carol! TFS the inspiration!

Carol, this idea of yours really cheered me during one of the really bad days of Covid news. I'm an immigrant and most of my parents' letters got destroyed in storage though I had saved them. I think I can now try to make a cohesive whole of the few remnants by making a journal with them, and this is a very comforting thought.

Love the idea of border punching the edge of the hinges as it will add a decorative piece to each page. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Carol, and an elbow-bump to you too, lol. I am loving this series and you have shared so many wonderful ideas with us, thank you for that. I have to be careful as my husband and I have underlying conditions when it comes to the coronavirus and I'm sensing you do too. Please take care of yourself and enjoy the Easter Holiday. Hugs, Donna, in California.

Thanks for the detailed description of making your hinges and where to attach them. Your oops is good for those of us that make many mistakes and will show us how to recover from them. Looking forward to the next video. 😁

I just finished a journal using the same but slightly different spine technique. I like the look of decorating the edges and the way you glued each piece into the spine looks much nicer than how I glued mine in. Also, the extra paper on each side of the spine ( I would have forgotten about the 2 pockets too) seems to help lining everything up evenly. I didn’t think I would ever use this spine technique again, but you have changed my mind. Having fun with this project. Thank you.

WOW!!!! What an Clever and I can already see me messing up with these measurements...lol!!!! I have a question....why did you not punch out the final edge of the envelope hinge? If you said why, I must have missed Anyway, I can tell this is going to be one amazingly unique I'm so excited!!!!
