This video will show you how the microphone sounds whilst connected to our GoXLR mini with our usual settings and connected using the USB without the use of any filters so you can listen to what the raw audio sounds like.
It feels well made with its all-metal construction and all the cables you need are in the box.
This could be an alternative to the well know Shure SM7B.

Great video, one tip: check proper mic technique, basically just put the mic a bit to you side of the face, to not speak directly in front of it, reduces a lot of the plosives. Also how the heck you don't have more subscribers, quality content here.

If you're considering buying this mic, buy an audio interface or mixer that you can plug this mic into using XLR. Because if you connect it via usb, the gain of the mic isn't actually changing, it just changes the mic volume output. So if you clip (which you will 100% do if you speak slightly above your normal speaking volume) there's no way to change the gain and the buttons will just reduce the volume so you're still gonna be clipping the mic, it's just gonna be at a lower volume. This mic sounds amazing via XLR though 👍

I’m new to microphones so would appreciate some help. Does the microphone need a mixer/ audio interface or can it be used with just the USB cable connected to a phone/ camera? And if yes, is there a downside which is why you typically see mixers/ audio interfaces being mentioned to do with these types of podcasting microphones?

So I've got the microphone. and want to use it on USB. is there a way that you can play the sound straight out of the Dongle. which I have got for my iPad which has headphone connection on it. because every time I try to. it only outputs out the back of the mic. And when I mute the microphone on the iPad it still comes out. if I use the microphone output for the headphones

Im using this mic with usb. but i need to speak very close to mic. Windows is set to 100 and mics botoms set to max plus. Why mics volume so low? I need to use amp or software to boost gain? I also have blue yeti pro. Blue have dial to boost gain.
