Jio Set Top Box - Easy Installation Guide (Hindi)

In this video follow an easy step-by-step guide in Hindi on how to install and make the most of your all-new JioFiber set-top box.

Steps to install Jio Set top box in Hindi below:

1. Unboxing & Cabling - Unbox each component from the kit - Connect the HDMI to the TV and note the HDMI port number. - Connect the LAN cable to the Ethernet port of STB and Wi-Fi router. - Connect the power adapter to the STB and a power source.
2. Pairing Your Jio Remote with Set top box - Insert AAA batteries and long press any key for 10 secs - Press OK to continue
3. Configuring the Jio Set-top box - Go to 'Display settings' and select HDMI resolution then select 'Auto Resolution and press continue - Select preferred Wi-Fi (preferably 5 Ghz) to connect your STB to the internet - Scroll down, read, and accept the T&C - Your set-top box is now successfully connected. You're now all set to enjoy unlimited entertainment!

Btw, I have a 25 year old Philips home theatre and it's remote looks much more classier than the jio's so called smart set top box jiske store me kuch hi gine chune apps hain and the Ui feels so cheap.

I have a very bad experience with jio STB :

1. All Sony and star channels are operated from OTT and have crashed so many times, screen freezes as I change channel.

2. Customer support is worse, I have called to technician who installed it so many times, he has not responded, once they installed they have nothing to do with it.

3. UI is very complicated for old age people and those who are not used to android phones, not simple as other dish like tata sky etc.

4. I have router installed already but inspite of that they give new router and set top box just for commission.

I have installed it yesterday and forced to use for three months as it minimum plan to use it. I'll discontinue after that.

Why there are few to no major kids channel on jio set top box, why don't you guys include major kids channels like Disney, hungama tv, pogo etc. and make hindi version of Nickelodeon available.
