I spent half the video trying to figure out if you were sitting really close to the floor or if there were some sort of invisible table there. Really good optical illusion between the floor and the table.

Nice and simple way to record at home! Very easy to follow for anyone trying to copy this on their own and includes great instructions. Great video!

I love mic'ing little amps. Even tiny SS ones with pedals for weird tones. I have an old SS Marshall lead 15 mini stack that sounds amazing with a boost mic'd, line out to IRs, or a blend of both. 10" speakers also have their own character IMO. I assume because the wave projection is more centralized and focused. Great video. I really enjoy the channel.
Cheers!

I love recording and my addiction started many years ago experimenting with "multi tracking" using two cassette recorders. Is anyone else guilty of that? lol. Thanks for the info Warren!

It's not the gear you have, it's the way you use it! Thanks Warren

Hi Warren, I had a question about placement of the amp itself. Where in my room do I place the amp? Is it ok if it is back up against one of the side walls, or will the reflections/ reverb screw up the sound if i keep it there? Are there any do's and don'ts when it comes to positioning the amp in a small bedroom? (I'm using an open back combo amp btw)

Thanks in advance!

wondering if you can make a video about large vs small amps for home recording purposes? amp recommendations perhaps?

this might sound like a really silly question, can you play live gigs with a small amp (e.g. 15 watt amp) and this mic connected to the mixer?

This amp (I own one.) is a really bright amp. Humbuckers, a good overdrive pedal, tone button all the way up and volume to about 3 makes really fun stuff. (at least to my hears)
