Born in ‘71, the late 70s through to mid 80s was a time to be alive, great friends, going everywhere, you played on the streets, in the bush, bmx bikes and dirt jumps, you could dream and no one would stop you, pinball machines, space invaders, pong, Atari’s, C64, Vic 20, cricket nets playing cricket. What a time to be a kid. 😎👍

I was an 80’s kid and it was a magical time to be alive.Atari 2600, new wave music, great original movies, watching the A-Team and Knightrider on TV.Skipping school to hang out at the arcade with friends, Snowball fights and snow forts in the winter, games of pickup ball on the old ball field on summer days and bike rides on cool summer nights that lasted forever.
No internet, no annoying social media, no digital cable. No complications or distractions.
We existed in a time and a world where “We can be heroes forever and ever”.
Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to flash up the old Delorean again...

i'm 56 now. graduated hs in 82. We had a lot of fun. dancing with cute 80s girls, listening to amazing music, cool cars. cool cloths and hair styles. guitar gods ruled. synth pop ruled. the games weren't too hard to play, and weren't violent. people had an innocence to them. there were almost no obese people. everyone was in shape and looking good. in my local circle there was no racism or predijuce. but it wasn't all peaches. there were still issues. just way less than today. it's sad today.

It is like someone took Miami Vice, Blade Runner, Risky Business, 48 Hours, Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop, The Running Man, and TRON and mixed all the great melodies, synthesized harmonies, and methodical bass beats. A wonderful medley, and a terrific job of capturing the 1980’s themes - thank you!

Aaahhh the 80's, watching movies on VHS and playing with Atari and Commodore games on tv... the good old times. I am 52 now.

I was born in '86. I remember watching old, and I mean OLD Looney Tunes, TMNT, and Disney cartoons on my old hulking silver VCR on our old RCA Colortrak TV. An NES, and an Action Max interactive system with a busted suction cup, so all we had was the gun and the VHS tapes (mainly watched for the entertainment value). Every TV commercial, and TV show and Movie had synth music somewhere in the soundtrack. My mother had an old Plymouth Volare, and my father had a military-green sprayed-on Jeep Wrangler which he took my sister and I off-roading on near the airport, where it was still allowed (sort of). There was color all around, and we were more connected than we are now. God, what a time to be born in!

I'm reading all these comments, about 80s and 90s being an era where we hung out with friends first and foremost, and I thought something was wrong with me, thought I became anti-social or something, cause I haven't made new friends in years and I hang out mostly with my fam. But no. Its the time we are living in now. I remember we'd spent hours and days hanging out in someone's house, playing video games or just shooting shit. Kids don't do it nowadays. Glad I was there in 80s in especially the 90s.

I am a boy born in 2007 and thank God I have a passion for the 80s. I think they were the best years of all from what I heard and read in the comments. I am envious of all of you ❤️

80s music, a commodore 64, vhs movies, MTV playing actual music videos with VJs, Casey Kasem Top 40 countdowns on the radio. I'm 45 and nothing beats this time period and these tracks are perfect to recapture that feeling. Thank you!

I was born in '67, so the 80's were my teen and early 20's years. It was indeed a good time to be alive.
Things started to slide downhill around '98 or so... probably why I enjoyed "Ready Player One" so much... a future that was obsessed with a specific decade's pop culture.

This is amazing. So evocative, of a time passed, when we were children of the 80s. The movies, series, music, toys, videogames. A decade that still influence us. I was born in 1979, and I'm proud to have lived that decade as a child because the memories are magical. My parents were in their 30s and they don't feel that nostalgia and magic. They had bigger problems to worry about. To me, those years are like a dream from which I don't want to wake up.

Driving with this on a warm summer evening through the roads unknown, even in rural plains, this music gives off fantastic vibes

I just can't get over how good this music is. It really takes you back to a time when you would play outside with actual friends. Play hide in seek or get wet with a hose outisde. Good memories growing up with no worry in the world. Remebering your first crush, your first kiss and all those times when you wish they could last forever.

A music with a heart.
A heart with a rhythm.
A rhythm with innocence.
An innocence with nostalgia..

1983 was a great year. I was 12 and music *like* this opened up my world. Now I get all this goodness in a tidy instrumental package - nice!

The best time being born is about 1977-83 , you get the hole package, nintendo sega, arcades, game and watch, evolution of gaming overall, technoligy evolution, best sictoms, talkshows, Ricki Lake, lettermann, jay leno, the best music ever 80/90s especially, you grow up as a child with Crockett and tubbs, neon, digitalism, learned to be tough, not protected like now a curling days kids, no no, watching Robocop as a 7 year old kid, yeeeaah, when u got internet youre about the perfect age, 17-23, and cellphones same time, you experienced a life with simple things, less stress, a lot less social problems and bullying from media etc,
IT WAS THE DAMN GOOD TIMES WE HAD, I wouldnt miss it for the world <3
