Using your KNIFE in the Office

Note: You can absolutely use your knife as a screwdriver. I personally hate doing it if it’s a nice knife like this one 😅. I have had several variants of the “Solstice” by Ocaso Knives and find it to be the most attractive gentleman’s knife I own (An Andrew Demko design, it’s no wonder the aesthetics are spot on).

Long, slim and sleek with super action, the Knife makes a nice *ting* when flipping open. Ocaso Knives has really focused on the office-centric type knife and they knocked it out of the park with this one. also a good night for the office because it’s not super intimidating. I would definitely consider this a nicer dress Knife that’s fairly lightweight in the pocket. This variant is a special edition and priced a little higher than their regular solstice model. I’ll have to get some photos of the design up close as it is just super pretty.

"Yay paper." as a branch manager with a gentleman's folder. That's exactly what I say.

"Weird Knife Girl" cracked me up 😂
My team got used to my EDCs, got to a point where they'd ask me what I was carrying in my rotation.
Converted most of my team to either Cold Steel or Böker 😂

Yes, just what every manager wants to see at the workplace. Good for safety meetings.

Every gentleman needs a sharp and handy knife, a tough and reliable watch and a pen that never fails to write. Extra points for having a fire starting device of some sort.

I used mine today as a: letter opener, box opener, a label maker, a pry bar, and to cut sandwiches into little bites to share with co workers. The boys were impressed how the tip didn't break when i used it to pry apart the packing lumber on a new humidor that arrived this morning. And it was still sharp enough to cut cardboard and sandwiches in the afternoon.

Its a Sitivien sheepsfoot liner lock in D2.

I must get a job! Kidding, I’m retired, but you, sister and your creative and humorous mind, make me reflect on how many things I missed out on, when I did work! I’m making up for the lost time now, though!!😊

I have a tiny little martial art school (Japanese Jujutsu, etc.) where we focus a lot on knives. One of my students is a professor who teaches paramedics. He was lecturing a rookie class at his university on what real knife wounds look like, multiple stabs in various locations, multiple paths via one entrance, etc. He did a demo of a knife attack on his podium to show how fast these things happen. His class (all college freshmen) were aghast, shocked into silence, and freaked out. LOL!!! So, yes, you absolutely can use your knife at work for many, many things. ;) His class, btw, is very popular. :D
