Lumix GH5 in 2022

good advise. i love my gh5 too. the gh6 is great, but you are right. its the concept and execution, not the size of the codec. best, Marty Sender You Tube give u LIKE for being practical

I added a used GH5s (in the summer of 2021) to my GH5 and G9.
I then vowed not to make any changes (to my camera body collection) until 2023.
Having looked at the GH6 I’m thinking I shall probably upgrade my GH5 to the GH5ii

Just ordered a GH5 late last week. Going to be way more camera than I'm used to. Have so much to learn with it.

Since I'm using it for YouTube I suspect I will need to pick up a prime lens or two. Any recommendations? I primarily do tutorials so it will be used for taking head or face cam while I am doing the task on my PC

Same here. The Lumix GH6 videos I've seen online are amazing when used by the skilled. And, the look of the imaging is like HDR and reality combined. But, I just discovered shooting MOV 4K/60p 8bit on the Lumix G9. Nevertheless, I plan to get a GH6, (or any Lumix flagship MFT) in the far future, once I have a new computer, and editing software that can deliver great 10bit editing.

I too am sticking with the GH5, and am going to be picking up a second one on the used market for my b-cam as people start selling them to upgrade. It does everything I need it to do, so I don't see much of a reason to upgrade.
