I used timelapse a ton on my 11 Pro Max for videos for my business ..I mainly used x2 which was perfect. However I just upgraded to the 13 Pro Max and I only get x1 & x3 which is too wide and too close respectively. I have Filmic Pro but timelapse isn't an option. Any suggestions?

I'm here because I'm sick of the crappy auto colour balance in Apples iOS video, having to turn of HDR seems to be the only option !!!

I have both moment and Filmic pro and you definitely need an ND Filter if you want to expose the sky and maintain a proper shutter speed. That just Video 101. But what drives me nuts is the Built in Iphone Photo app is able to expose the sky and the foreground with the use of computational magic giving a 16-17 stops of DR which is impossible for the other Apps and its already graded looking. In a pinch I have shot using the Iphone app to get Wide DR Shots that would be impossible, shots that my Canon r6 can't even do in CLOG3 or HDR, Therefore the Iphone App gets a "plus plus " for being able to get shots that you couldn't get otherwise without expensive gear

If I want a videotaking app that has most of the manual control including shooting at 4K50 fps, on ultra wide 0.5x lens, with manual focus adjustment & HDR mode, what would you recommend? In fact, it's actually very annoying that the native camera app doesn''t feature 50fps video when some of the light source flickers at 60fps.

I tried the Moment app, but I mostly shoot 4K dash cam video and the Moment app stabilization is inferior to the native iOS camera app. I would like to see a video comparison for the apps.

I always enjoy your reviews. I have tthree questions. (1) How does stabilization compare with these two apps? (2) Apple disables the tele camera on the iPhone 13 Pro/Max in "dark" conditions, according to Apple's judgment, and switches to standard (26mm eq.) lens with a crop. This results in crap quality. Can either of these apps override that system and let us use our tele lens in darker conditions. (3) Can they shoot Dolby Vision HDR?
