SOFI targets people that want to get their finance right with maybe some interest in investing, HOOD is targeting people that are very interested in Investing/trading. Those two separations of people make it really hard for me to see how HOOD is going to steal SOFI's customers.

I will never use Robin Hood as a bank. They were shady with their GameStop dealings and now they’re into sports betting to derivatives not what I want from my bank.

I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?

The fact that Robinhood is powered by Galileo I wish them much success; but these companies target two different types of customers.

SOFI better take heed but everyone got nervous when Apple did the same thing a while back. Don’t hear anything about that concern anymore and SOFI continues to grow!

It’s better for SoFi to have competition. Competition is what pushes companies further, because without competition companies get complacent.

I like it as an investor but I would never recommend it to a friend for banking. Flashy is fun but it wears over time. Hood is introducing lots of new products and we’ll see how well they’re able to manage all that. SoFi doesn’t have the wow factor at the moment but they also feel like they’ve been around forever and are always slowly moving in the right direction. It’s the tortoise and the hare. I’m betting on both but most of my money is gonna be with and on the tortoise. Thanks for the video Tevis!

It's not good to have competition, but it's normal. It also validates Sofi's direction. They just need to invest into the customer experience. There is another 9 spots in the top 10 banks.

Literally the only thing SoFi invest doesnt have that robinhood does in my use case is level 1 options. Thats it, otherwise its pretty much the same UI/UX. I have actual accounts in both.

Well, what makes me an outlier I guess! I am 55 year old English immigrant, with zero interest in tech or stocks, and yet I am 110% committed to Bitcoin. I would describe myself as an extreme conservative/libertarian. I have been involved in UK politics for some time, and the main thing that drove me to study Bitcoin and ultimately recognize its value to Humanity was the threat posed by an over-weening government, first in the UK and lately in the US also. I regard the CBDC as the final brick in the wall of the totalitarian prison the world's governm*nts are building for us. And Bitcoin is the ultimate defense against a tyrannical been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Holly Adley, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial Climate.

How is Robinhood making money on this? They don’t have a bank charter so their costs are higher. There is no magic bullet here. Is this another lost leader like Robinhood’s gold credit card offering? How many lost leaders can a company have and still operate profitably? Yes, they can gain market share but at what cost? I view Robinhood as a much riskier stock to own. You should do a video from that angle as I think it would frame up the comparison between SoFi and Robinhood better.
