Elsa's Frozen Treats ❄️🍦 LEGO Disney Princess build & review

This is a cute concept which is a little bit of a different take for the Disney Princesses - a tiny village where they all run a different business / market stall. Elsa is, of course, running an icecream stall (I kind of imagine it as a mobile Mr Whippy, but fairytale village style).

If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Lego is an artistic medium and no matter your building expertise there is something here for everyone. Stick around and I'll build for you while I review new sets and create my own customs (MOCs). I tend to geek out about new pieces, get excited about learning new and interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so things can get a bit hectic, but I'm sure you're down for that.

I like Elsa dress also couldn’t help but notice that auroras dress is the one from 2019 not from the big market set. Did you change it because it’s your more favourite version of auroras dress? It’s ok because I like it better aswell

The new Disney face prints feel like they based them off of the performers portraying the characters at the Disney parks instead of the charcoal themselves

I noticed that some of your transparent blue pieces were different shades. The same thing happened to me in a monkey kids set. Quality control is starting to be an issue.

I have to say it ; I literally recoiled when you put Elsa’s head on. The face print is SO wrong for her. And that reminds me - did you see the Wicked trailer (a bit six degrees of separation but it relates! Let it go was almost certainly based off Defying Gravity plus obv the Idina connection). I keep seeing blogs talking about Wicked Lego and I’m crossing all fingers and toes they’ll give us a minidoll Elphaba (SURELY the neckbeards wouldn’t care about that one, right??).
They are very pretty colours together but ALL I could think is this is the designers pushing out coffee shop (/ice cream van) AU’s 😂 which I am not opposed to! So good to see something other than another castle. Did Elsa get a modern apartment (I feel I should remember that but covid got me a couple weeks ago and honestly, stuff’s a little foggy still)? Could have the ice cream truck in the garage. Anyway you can see why these sell so well - they must spark a lot of creative storytelling with little ones.
