With hindsight, when she asks, "Are you planning on doing any investigating, or..?"
He could have just said, "I found out all I needed to know in that wardrobe."
I love this film.

Man, at 0:30 you can almost feel the stifling heat in the air as they enter the barracks. This movie has great acting but the cinematography deserves some recognition as well.

Kiefer Sutherland stole this movie with his performance. His commitment to the Marine Corps was unquestioned, and his character was scary as hell--because a great actor played the role. There were many good performances in this movie, but KS blew the others away.

Always found it weird the level of contempt this man held for an entire branch of the military and how he was holding a lawyer who happened to work for that branch accountable to the standard he found displeasing.

I wish they had included a scene where they arrested Kendrick, he was just as guilty and cowardly as the Colonel

its funny that kiefer was only 25 here and tom was 30 yet kiefer seems so much older and superior.

"At 1600."
"That's 4 o'clock."
"STFU, Sam."

Kaffee should have ticked off Kendrick even more by asking what was his favorite Gomer Pyle episode.

Nice dig that Kendrick takes at the Navy, while a Naval officer two ranks above him (she is the equivalent of a Marine major) is right there in the room. She would’ve had his heart on a plate for that.

I think when the producers of 24 wanted to cast Keefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, all they needed to do was watch him here.
Bad Ass? Check.

Say what you will about his character, but not allowing people you dislike to call you by your first name is a boss move.

I see Kiefer was wearing those Jack Bauer sunglasses even back then.

“Santiago is dead because he had no code. He’s dead because he had no honour. And God was watching.”

A quote from the most innocent man in the movie.

Kinda funny that Kiefer, Cruise, and Pollack are all short so the scene of them walking down the hall didn't require the usual gimmicks that Cruise & Kiefer frequently need in scenes that they don't want to look shorter than the other actors in a scene.

The clothing neatly arranged in the closet was an important clue. Important evidence that was registered by the Tom Cruise character.

You notice whan he said God was watching, they cut to the Cross? Incredible.

I read a funny story about when they filmed this scene. Kiefer Sutherland was really driving the truck as they filmed, but he wasn’t very good at it especially when it came to saying his lines that it took a lot of takes. The others in the truck were a little scared as well.
