For some reason it just inspired me to imagine a masculine themed journal, (perhaps in a long format such as small envelopes as opposed to square), fitting a jacket pocket, especially with memo papers they can scribble, tear out and hand off to someone from a meeting or social event. Good simple lines, with strong architectural & textural embellishments, neutral colors and tones, even black & white, would appeal to many men I know. Not EVERYTHING demands exchanging email addresses and business cards! Just a brief note, reference, intro, suggestions like brewery, restaurant, gym, sports or gaming place goes easily into a pocket and is memorable. Men are good at networking too!

Tip. When opening a jump ring pull the opening back and forth instead of apart it makes it easier to get back together. :)

Beautiful paper collection, cute pockets but the jewellery maker in me had a sharp intake of breath when you opened that jump ring!! I know it’s a junk journal but please use 2 pliers, one on each side of the opening and move one hand forwards to create an opening. It maintains the shape and allows a better fit when closing it up again 😊
