“Crazed TRANS Lobby” | Puberty Blockers To Be Banned In UK

Puberty blockers are now permanently banned in the UK after an expert review deemed them an “unacceptable safety risk” to children.

An independent report by the Commission on Human Medicines found the drugs, previously given to children questioning their gender, pose significant risks. They will now only be available through an NHS-run clinical trial.

The Cass Review, led by Dr. Hilary Cass, highlighted “remarkably weak” evidence supporting their use and warned the drugs could alter psychosexual and gender identity development.

A temporary ban was introduced in May by then-Health Secretary Victoria Atkins. Current Health Secretary Wes Streeting extended the ban in July, making it permanent.

In Australia, Pauline Hanson has put a vote to Parliament to do an inquest into puberty blockers, and trans surgery on five occassions. It's been knocked back everytime. This is AFTER the Cass report was published.

A member of my family did this and now they have mental and physical health problems. Besides, they changed their mind which made things worse. These so called health professionals should be jailed as it is child abuse. Children are still growing both in mind and body. There should be rigorous mental health counselling before any treatment and made to wait until they are 21 or above!

I'm Trans and agree with Debbie. I wrote the national policy for adults, but never agreed with the medication of children. I've always believed that 90% of children, saying they have difficulties with their adult will change their mind by adulthood. Giving puberty blockers stopped this chance to change your mind.
