Very informative, Mona. I have made a Sioux style pipe bag, similar to your design using white buckskin. Took me 6 months to make when i was 16. Still have it. I've been beading a long time, and I still am learning. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. One thing I've struggled with when beading was keeping the beads laying flat, tight, and rigid. Your video really helped me with that.

Freezer paper can be ironed on the leather. Just put a pressing cloth between the iron and leather.

What type thread do I use to bead weave . I used to use a heavy thread, But I have forgotten what it was called. I do not bead on anything. Just soft, only beads and thread. Thanks, Judith.
