26:48 It still amazes me that the purpose of the question, " who created the creator? " is misunderstood by apologists as a cop out, when really it's to demonstrate the special pleading inherent in the claim, " creation requires a creator ".

I was a devout Christian for many years. Now I am a nonthiest. I have never been happier, more morally centered, or at peace with myself as I am now. Thank you for doing this series! I still have many Christian friends that are trying to push books like "God's not Dead" on me, and it drives me nuts. Now I know how to respond to them when they say idiotic crap.

I just recently told my parents that I'm an atheist. But I don't think they understand my position.  I feel like they think I'm just being rebellious. Pisses me off a little.

Though Rice was young in his faith, his simple answers to his brother's questions led to Ben's acceptance of Christ, and he baptized Ben later that day.*

That fucking story from the chapter is also the very first thing you see on his Amazon biography. The first thing the guy tells people about himself is a blatant and anecdotal appeal to authority. We're in for a bumpy ride.

I saw this and squealed so loud I woke up my friends who slept over after a drunken New Year in another room. This series ups my production at work. Steve's voice is calming, his commentary informative and his beard spectacular. Now to figure out if I shall watch this now or at work on Monday...
