Sports is big business today, with the sports industry generating approximately 150 billion dollars a year. On this episode of Carpe Diem, host Marc Rosenweig, associate professor in the School of Communication and Media, discussed the branding of sports with a panel of three sports media professionals at the Yogi Berra museum and Learning Center.
The panel included Pat Capra, president of Lunar Sports Group, Matthew Futterman, senior sports writer for the Wall Street Journal, and Jessica Slenker, director of marketing and media partnerships for the New York Giants.
