The objects he recommended for font of rage isn't good, because a low level balista die instantly and you need to recast it if u dont want rage to fall off. Rage support aside, font of rage should be used with things like solar orb, which ignite enemies without requiring it to break threshold, so no investment, but allow you to use a bunch of support gems that benefit from hitting an ignited enemies like the permanent shock one, or skill can't ignite, but gain 30% dmg as fire which is straight up just 30% more dmg.
Frostbomb also works really well for font of rage, it's cold exposure for cold dmg builds, and it's also an immortal object, so far far more consistent.
Btw all classes have access to all skills :)

There're quite a few bit off here and there, but overall still pretty good for brand brand new players

The one thing to keep in mind with both extra skill levels and faster skill usage is that both up the mana cost of using the abilities. So while you get bigger numbers, you do need more of other stats to sustain those numbers.

Also, the extra cold damage wouldn't be so bad for your sorceress, even if it is cold damage. Extra is calculated after all the other stuff, so all those lightning buffing nodes get factored in first, and then you get X% of all that as extra cold damage. It is cold, which means it won't factor into your base shock chance (barring one of the Stormweaver nodes), but conversely, it can build up a bit of chill/freeze. But, there's one big caveat, and that's that somehow Archmage exists with the numbers it has, and that's also extra damage. And because whoever designed that has no business being a designer, the extra cold damage becomes a significantly smaller upgrade than you'd think.

For the bow, a single shot bow shoots about 10% faster than a double shot one. Furthermore, the single shot bow has a higher damage per shot. And beyond that, there's abilities and things like Scattershot to consider. The latter is 2 extra shows, taking a single shot bow from 1 to 3, but the dual string from 2 to 4. So, like with extra skill levels and faster skills, there are other factors to consider. So, while it should up your damage, overall, it won't double it, not even if the extra arrow always hits.

Many people often forget to check the dps stats, glad you pointed it out.

Bro, it still scales your elemental damage. To everyone, you can click the arrow by the skill to see advanced dps. My monk ice strike is using a hybrid physical, ice, lightning damage staff.

The lightning damage on the staff is 1-112, the damage from the attack is 4 to 450. The total dps is what matters, not where it comes from.

Unless you have different penetrations or exposures.

My electric damage is 1 to 900 on each hit, while the warstaff is just 1 to 120. It still will amplify

I wouldn't say an extra arrow is "double the damage" its only double damage if both arrows hit the same target. it is spreading out the damage to twice the target though. but since they shoot at an angle, they can miss the target all together at further distances. which I've had happen and was frustrating. you'd want an odd amount of arrows to ensure you are shooting at your intended target so that your middle arrow will actually target the enemy you're aiming at. though luckly it doesnt matter too much with lighting arrows as they do trigger when hitting a wall so its rare that it'll do no damage at all

I tried font of rage with warrior's earthshatter making three of them and it doesn't multiply. Seem to only provide one font of rage.

The thing I’m finding confusing is which passive skill nodes to prioritise. When playing a monk it seems ideal to go for anything which increases attack skill damage or melee damage as this covers all the quarterstaff skills, but is just stacking that over and over again the best idea or should I also be picking up elemental damage boost for his lighting and cold skills? How important is elemental penetration for example? The game doesn’t make it terribly obvious which works out best for me over all. Also, is it worth picking up physical damage nodes? Or maybe stacking crit chance and damage?
I’ve just hit maps as of last night and seem to be doing pretty well so far although I’ve literally only run a couple. Had a good roll on a staff with lots of physical, cold and lightning damage which seems to be going quite well for me but I know I’ll need to think about shooting for an upgrade at some point soonish

just because a skill converts physical to cold doesnt mean you need to use physical or cold damage on the weapon to do damage with it. it will essentially just be a vehicle for any base damage you want to pump into it. you could use pure chaos damage and then even use it to poison enemies if u wanted.

Super useful video!. TYSM for making it

Bow arrows from the same skill action can't shotgun though, so although the Dualstring bows are great for clear, it's not really doubling your DPS on direct attacks.

Now it is a bit complicated because if you use a ground cover attack like Lighting Rod, you are putting down more of them a bit faster and those can multiplicatively hurt a single target. So it is an increase if that's your means of attack on single target (as it is for many Lightning Arrow Rangers, with Orb of Storms to proc the Lightning Rod Chains).

I didn't realize at first that +elemental dmg to attack on a gear piece did nothing for anything but my melee strikes.

Ballista can come in clutch fighting bosses if you put culling strike support gem on it aswell as font of rage

im thinking the chaos bow would do more damage? becasue otherwise...what's the point in comparing them? i rolled a good phys buff chaos bow only to realize that it has only chaos damage. so am i right in thinking that a flat phys increase on that bow would be better than the other bow?

I been struggling with my jewels playing around to see which one affects my damage the most. Is there a way to see that breakdown on Xbox or is that only on pc? I need to figure out how to open it up

you talk about the Dualstring Bow having more DPS cause u have 1 more arrow does that also apply to Dyad Crossbow since you get 1 more bolt?

is damage for grenades listed per one grenade or for all launched grenades per shot?

The part of Rage stacking up, was a little unclear for me, what did you do exactly in this case? You added support gems to the Attrition Spirit Skill? And what are the support gems for Attrition? Rage and what else?

I'm going ok as a summoner, but really not sure what stats actually apply to minion damage etc... any ideas?
