The pink bedroom just screams "teen cousins who don't see each other often except at the lake house" sleepover room (that's what my cousins and I were like growing up) and we'd have Loved a room set-up like that
also as someone who absolutely loves knitting at the beach/on vacation: love the knitting gear everywhere

i also have a cottage / farm house in the countryside thats been in my family for over a century! this build reminded me a lot of it, especially the mismatched furniture. over the years, so many people in my family have brought old furniture to the house when they dont have anywhere else to put it. the sitting room literally has like 5 different couches 😭 its suchhhh a fun and cozy interior. theres also like 7 bedrooms (it was built back when people used to have like 10 children lol) and one of them has 4 beds 😭 last time we had a family gathering there, there were like over 15 people sleeping there it was crazy.
this build was very nostalgic :, )

All of this screams of the game "What Remains of Edith Finch" for me, with all the different people decorating the rooms in such unique ways and it coming all together so extraordinarily. Especially the cute purple bathroom, I remember there being a family member in the game that decorated everything about her own bathroom in pink too ❤❤

Syd, you should do a real life + Cas sim transformation. Like, whatever make up you put on your sim you have to copy on yourself! and you combine it with a get ready with me video! I havent seen other people really do this and I think it would be a fun experiment. OR maybe you dont get to choose the sims make up, you can do the random generator challenge.

This really pulled at my heartstrings. I’m not trying to direct “pity me” attention towards myself but, my family has had our cottage for 40 years. It was where we’d meet and celebrate the holidays with my cousins, aunts, and uncles. Due to someone (I know who they are) putting it into a reverse mortgage, we can no longer keep it in the family. It completely breaks me because, it’s been my whole life going there and seeing it be taken away from us without any control is crushing.
But anywho, super cute build!
