TANTAAFL. There ain't no thing as a free lunch. Anyone familiar with getting scuba tanks recharged can see some issues, one being the lack of energy, short run time etc as noted in the comments; another issue is the heat created from compressing air. That heat is waste energy, really all you're doing is hiding the costs in another process. Regular ICE/hybrids are the best solutions.
