Bucs need linebackers more than they need tight ends. Infact, they need 2 linebackers. They have 3 decent TE's already. They need guys at almost every position on defense either for depth or starters. And they could use Savion Williams.

TE in the first round??? Literally the DUMBEST possible 1st round Pick for the Bucs, they already have Otton, Durham, and Culp who are all very effective TE's.

In every mock draft I've run (albeit on Draft Buzz, not the PFF simulator), Jalon Walker has always been available for the Bucs, but even in this one you guys ran, you at least had James Pierce Jr at Edge which we desperately need a Miles Garret comp to really elevate the Edge and interior penetration which would immediately make the CB's more effective, which I believe Pierce Jr could be that guy for us.

Yaya is our most effective Edge LB and even he only has 3.5 sacks on the season.
Meanwhile on other teams: TJ Watt 11.5 sacks on the season; Miles Garret 14 sacks on the season, Micah Parson (who was injured for 5 games) 9.5, and Maxx Crosby (also injured for 5 games) has 7.5 sacks.
That is an abysmal difference in Edge pressure. Bucs should've traded for Crosby at the deadline this year for JTS and a 4th or 5th round pick. that move alone would've elevated the shit out of our defense.

you do not know shit... they are taking defense so if its not a defensive player in 1st round then you have done 0 research... also godwin is coming back and they will pick defense first 2 rounds no question.. prob linebacker and either corn or edge

Bucs draft will be mostly on defense. Edge, CB, LB. They are not drafting a TE in the first.

I agree with most posters here. The Tampa TE room is really a top 10 room going into next year. We have no more snaps for another TE.

We would definitely take an edge rusher or lB in round 1 . round 2 can be the other you didn’t get round 1 or get a cb . 3rd round should be interior guard .

Bucs have way bigger needs than TE, basically anything on defense aside from interiour DL. I would take Mykel Williams or James Pearce Jr. in this scenario

Bucs are taking CB or LB in the first round. Imo, they might use their first 3 picks on defense.

The offense is averaging near 30 points a game to add a TE in round 1? The defense needs talent as they are soft in the middle and are not producing turnovers.

Crazy, first 3 picks likely gonna be edge/lb/cb in some fashion. I believe bowles is playing more zone because he is playing safe as not to overly expose the players he has. he needs to go more man.

As a Bucs fan, this draft would hurt. Pass rush, Linebacker, IOL, CB, QB, TE are the needs. I understand BPA. But there is only so many TDs to be thrown.

In this draft for the Bucs I would trade back to the second round and pick up one or 2 third rounders. I would rather have two #2's and three #3's than a 1, 2, 3. We need depth on defense.

They need defensive backfield, linebackers, and edge rushers.

They need to load up defense in the first 3 rounds. With the possibility of a left guard in there somewhere
