Exped Tip: How do I fix the hole in my mat myself? (English subtitles)

A small hole does not mean the end for your beloved mat. Sven works in the repair service at Exped and makes sure that damaged products are given new life. Because we always prefer to repair something rather than throw it away. Since Sven also has to stay at home due to the current situation, he simply shows you on his balcony how to repair the hole in the mat properly.

Important tips:
- To find the hole easier, you can use soapy water
- When you dry the mat, you should not leave it inflated in the blazing sun.

- Um das Loch leichter zu finden, kannst du Seifenwasser verwenden
- Wenn du die Matte trocknest, solltest du sie nicht aufgeblasen in der prallen Sonne liegen lassen.

I cannot find that uv glue anywhere online. I can only find the +FD type. Can anyone recommend a working glue for sale in EU? Thanks

I have a exped UL synmat and it appears to sprung a leak, i am unable to locate the leak without drenching it underwater as it is a a primaloft lined model so i dont want to wait for a week for it to dry out also mould getting in there. It deflates slowly throughout the night. Any ideas what it could be, i have tried to locate the tiniest hole all over the mat and cant seem to find any at all, along the seams there is none and could be the valve itself or the rubber o ring over the plug! Cheers

Whats the best way to fix a mat where the fabric is still air tight but the mat underneath is leaking and has caused a huge blister about 2ft Square? Disaster!!!

Hab von denen zwei Matten. Beide zeigen nach 6 Jahren seltener Benutzung, aber aufgeblasen verstaut, das gleiche Problem. Die Naht geht auf. Mit dem Repairkit nicht zu flicken, denn das ist für Löcher. Ein Problem das wir noch nie hatten.. 

Man muß die Matte am Ende 2* umknicken und mit Druck, wir haben zwei Latten und einen Stuhl samt mir, benutzt. Dann ist die Matte kürzer, aber wieder dicht. Ahja, und eine Lage Ducktape
