I’m a Christian and have developed a huge huge affinity towards Islam and Muslims ever since this genocide started. I have grown to have such a huge respect for Muslims, for their discipline in life, for their kindness and heart, they’d give you the shirt off of their back, they would give you their last drop of water to drink. I love this so much and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints and we have so much in common with Muslims and I've been drawing a through line since my joining because I think it's so important for both to understand one another and I think ultimately our theology is near identical or at least complimentary to one another.

Interesting you brought up AtaTürk. Few years back I was vacationing in Turkey. My friends & I ended up in AtaTürk mausoleums. We were ushered (I felt forced) to watching hour long documentary on AtaTürk. Something about him made me sick to my stomach. Couldn’t be on the grounds for more than 15 minutes I had excuse myself, went across the street and waited for my friends to done. As soon as left the ground I immediately felt better. Till this day when ever his name is brought up my soul wants to scream. I have never felt that way before nor since about anyone, anything or anyplace

I have been to many historical sites, where humanity was brutalized. I can feel the sadness of the land, watching that documentary for me (I lasted 5 minutes) was like I was watching all the horror, sick, twisted & gory movies all at the same. I can’t even look at his pic.
