Appalachian Trail Day 152: HUGE SURPRISE

We’re the Crawford family and we're walking 2,200 miles from Georgia to Maine on the Appalachian trail with our kids who are 2, 7, 11, 13, 15, and 16 years old. We think it will take us 6 months but we've never done anything like this.

Fresh Ground is the man!! He is so generous and caring to do what he does. It’s more than food. I love how he hiked with Amanda for a while when her morale was at rock bottom ...he has a heart of gold. he is a special person who I hope is blessed many times over for all he has done for so many hikers. what an influence on so many. You rock Fresh Ground!!!

Is anyone else out there glad that we get to watch the last two weeks of their journey? I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to. It would've been like missing a few chapters of an awesome book I was reading. Feeling thankful.
