Discussing the way in which hard brexit media in Britain is having to tackle the brexit shortages of food, drink and medical supplies. Rather than denying the problem, or ignoring it, because it's too obvious to most people now, they instead try to pretend that the issues are caused by something else. In this video, I break down the way the Daily Mail tackles the shortages to highlight how they attempt to mislead their readers.

I have tried using these logical arguments with Brexiteers, their answer "It's the EU punishing us for leaving". With this mindset they will never admit the carnage Brexit is causing.

Of course the takeaway from the Daily Mail's spoutings is that we in the EU need 400K drivers, why would our excess drivers want to go to all the hassle of getting onto plague island populated by xenophobes and governed by EU haters when our drivers can choose between 27 countries to work in?

Sometimes if I see what happens in GB it seems as watching not a third country, but a third world country. Sadface.
Great video, keep your great work up!
Cheers from the 🇪🇺”continent” 🇩🇪

For us in the EU Brexit is a fantastic comedy, but it's bad so many people are involved with food shortage.

Brexiteers said free of the EU we would be quick and nimble and far better placed to deal with global issues.
Now it's ...don't blame Brexit....it's a global issue that we cannot fix..

Germany has a shortage of 50, 000 to 75, 000 HGV drivers. But they also have 730, 000 active domestic drivers. So the shortfall is around 7 to 10%; not 25% like in the UK. They also don't have to wait in queues and can do cabotage. So lorries from the outside can enter freely, do multiple stops and go back home all in one day.

A brexiter said to me "some countries out there got worse than we have"
compering Uk to like North Korea
What a brain fart that was.

Pre-Brexit "remoaners: "Brexit will cause lots of problems. Food will be left to rot in the fields. The border between Ireland and Northern Ireland will cause problems. There will be serious shortages of workers in sectors that are essential to our economy as EU migrants leave the UK. There are no Brexit benefits for fishing and agriculture."
Pre-Brexit leavers: "Haha, Project Fear"

Brexit happens. Food is left to rot in the fields. The border between Ireland and Northern Ireland causes massive problems. There are serious shortages of workers in key sectors due to EU migrants leaving the UK. The consequences of Brexit are so dire for fishing and agriculture that Nigel Farage avoids people associated with that sector like the plague.
Post-Brexit leavers: "Huh? Pingdemic?"

I live in the Netherlands, and I can confirm that we have no obvious shortages of food, drink or medical supplies. Supermarket shelves are certainly not empty.

This is a dead parrot! Brexiter: No it's not; it's sleeping, pining for the fjords

They refer to rules and regulations as pointless EU red tape. They know full well the rules if you become a third country.

It is not just the far right media, pretty much all journalists of the mass media are failing in their primary duty to hold government to account.

That is why channels like yours, like Max, like Peter are so important and why we the viewers need to share your content widely.

I recommend for Brexiteers, to spend their holydays in NI. They could bring some food as a souvenir to the UK. How about a frozen turkey for xmas?

Well done Phil getting to the heart of the matter. Media distorting facts in Britain is no surprise, in my opinion always take what they say as total rubbish, never rely on them for what is really going on

Where is the source of shoratges of drivers in Germany. It is not very visable via search engines. The shortages claimed seems to come from quotes in the Daily Express!!!!

Isn’t it strange how Italy/France where supposed to exit as well, now all we hear is silence. The downfall of the uk has made the remaining 27 tighter than a ducks arse.

I feel very sorry for the people who didn't want this, but it's hard not to enjoy hearing those who did (or didn't bother voting against it) complain about it.

My lawns are ovegrown because of brexit.

The reason is the foreign bottled beer section at Sainsburys has emptied, and I'll not spend an hour cutting grass without a superior cervisial reward.

That week went flying - and every day some new Brexit fun. Witherspoons running out of beer; schools running out of school meals; a shortage of school uniforns; 100k pigs needing to be culled and more empty shelves. Whats next week gonna be?
