Показать описание
If you're looking to create 2d drawings from sketchup, chances are you've wondered how to create a section with a poche or solid cut fill. In this video we share two methods on how to create a poche in your sketchup models.
1. Create your section cut by going to "Tools" and then "Section Plane".
2. Find the plane you want to cut along and hold shift to lock to that plane.
3. Click to make your section cut.
Method A
When to use it: When you want to create a section perspective & don't plan on changing the section cut location.
4A. Right click on your section plane and select "Create Group From Slice" in the menu
5A. Hide the rest of your model
6A. Click into the group that was created from the slice
7A. Fill in the geometries created from the slice to create your poche.
Method B
When to use it: When you're creating a flat section with parallel projection & want to create multiple section cuts.
4B. Create a new poche style
5B. Select "face setting" icon in your style and change "back color" to black.
6B. Click the style preview icon to update your style with your current settings.
7B. (Optional) You may want to change the color of the ground poche
