FILM DESCRIPTION:
J.C. Wiatt (Diane Keaton) is a New York City businesswoman who is married to her job and has a relationship with Steven (Harold Ramis), a successful investment broker. J.C.'s life takes an unexpected turn when a relative suddenly dies and makes her the caretaker of a baby girl. Soon, the baby's arrival causes J.C. to lose first Steven, and then her job. She moves to Vermont and embarks on a series of life-changing events. But when offered the opportunity, will she return to her corporate ways?

Babies can eat and do care for linguini. I even saw a friend of mine feed her baby pasta and her baby loved it. The problem that J.C. and Steven don't seem to realize is that a baby can't feed itself, you have to feed it otherwise they'll just handle it and play with it. But they have no experience with babies, so how would they know?

These kind of scenes are cute but totally stupid. I don’t care if they’re childless. These people are in their 40s? They’ve got four decades of interacting with fellow humans. Some of those humans have been babies. I’m sorry but they know a baby this age isn’t successfully eating linguini. Even if they don’t quite know what to give her, they know it’s not that.
