Johnny Jenkins’ blues song “I Walk On Gilded Splinters” (1968) was a major influence on “Go Let It Out” (2000). Jenkins was a renowned left-handed guitarist who helped launch Otis Redding’s career. His exuberant technique preceded Jimi Hendrix, who used some of Jenkins’ knacks in his shows.

This shows that a great song can be made out of just a few chords. That A7 chord kinda floats everything by in this song. Love that heavy distorted bass too. I wish more Oasis songs had heavy bass in them.
