I was never a country music listener, and still don't seek it out, but I know the words to every Shania Twain single. Here in Canada, she's like music royalty. When I was in middle school, my best friend's older sister was such an avid fan of Shania's, that she would fall asleep to the Come On Over album playing on repeat. Every sleepover we had, I could hear the songs through the wall as she didn't sleep with headphones on. Even last night, driving home in the dark through the rain, Shania came on the radio to carry me home. She's a dynamo lady with a genuine laugh and a heart of gold. Glad to see her making an overdue return to the spotlight.

Love this lady! When I was serving in Iraq, a box of music CD's were delivered to my unit, and one of her albums was among the set. It was the only CD I listened to while I was there...kept me grounded ☺️

look, I'm a guy and for all. you who are saying she looks different...She is well into her 50's and the pressure on women in entertainment to remain conventionally "sexy" to all ages is, I would imagine, overwhelming. She employs tens of people who depend on her maintaining a "look". She seems happy and that is all I can hope for her. She is a creative giant who seems as genuine as they come. She is also still so innocent - all her closet and bathroom comments were giggled by the fans, but she was not thinking that way. She is a real survivor given her story, and as a man I can say I have no idea the pressures she is under to stay thin, look unwrinkled and flawless. I wish female artists were held to the same standard as males like Clooney and Pitt who are allowed to get old but look their age doing it. Good on you Shania, you are rocking it and are a a pure talent

I listened to shania a lot when my son was very little. He loved to sing ‘I feel like a woman’. I thought it was so cute. Fast forward 25 years or so and I overheard him singing that song in the shower! It’s the little things…❤
